| Dr. Totz is a Navy Flight Surgeon 9/11 veteran, actively practicing board certified Emergency Physician, and an attorney member of the State Bar of California. Dr. Totz has accrued over 50,000 practicing hours in the emergency department with over 150,000 patient contacts in a multitude of practice settings. For over 22 years Dr. Totz has been an active instructor for the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses at Tulane University (New Orleans, LA), Ben Taub General Hospital (Houston, TX), and The Memorial Hermann Life Flight Program (Houston, TX), all of which are affiliated with Level 1 trauma programs. |
Dr. Totz is a Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP). Dr. Totz concentrates his consulting practice in the areas of emergency medicine/urgent care/cruise ship medical negligence/ malpractice, Aerospace medicine, flight surgery medicine, personal injury medical necessity and billing reviews, emergency medicine balance billing reviews, medical related mediation/arbitration, independent medical exams (IME), life care planning, and independent medical peer reviews. Dr. Totz has reviewed and continues to provide assistance to BOTH Plaintiff and Defense firms. |
