Randall L Kinnard- Lessons from the Courtroom
 Randall L. Kinnard is a partner at Kinnard, Clayton & Beveridge, located in Nashville, Tennessee. He focuses his practice exclusively on plaintiffs' personal injury and wrongful death litigation, assisting people who have been harmed by the negligence of others in matters involving medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and defective products. During his career, Mr. Kinnard has been able to obtain numerous significant settlements and jury awards for his clients, including $22.2 million for a surgical error that led to his client being paralyzed from the waist down. It was reported at the time that this represented the highest medical malpractice award ever given to an individual by a Tennessee jury.

Adam Malone Effective Voir Dire in Medical Negligence Cases
 Adam Malone is based in Atlanta, Georgia and dedicates his entire practice to helping families in cases involving brain injury, spinal cord injury, burns, amputation, and wrongful death. Adam has obtained record jury verdicts, including a $24.5 million verdict in a case involving an above-knee amputation which is reported to be the largest personal injury verdict ever returned in Albany, Georgia. Adam has also earned a reputation for excellence in the appellate courts. Due to Adam’s work, the Georgia Supreme Court struck down the state’s cap of $350,000 on non-economic damages in medical negligence cases as violating the constitutionally guaranteed right to trial by jury. This ruling not only permitted his client to recover the amount of damages determined by the jury in that case - it was much more important than that. This decision ensured that all patients harmed by preventable medical errors have the right to trial by jury and the right to be completely compensated in an amount determined by jurors, not legislators.

Franklin Pierce III - Fraudulent Misrepresentation and Fraudulent Advertising in Medical Malpractice Cases
Francis E. (Frank) Pierce, III is a Florida native, born in Gainesville, Florida and has lived most of his life in Orlando. He returned to Gainesville for undergraduate and law school at the University of Florida. He graduated from law school in 1978 and has been engaged in a civil trial practice in Orlando since that time. Frank specializes in defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice cases, defending pharmaceutical companies in medical product liability cases, and he handles complex civil litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Frank was part of the team defending the first Bendectin morning sickness drug case filed in the United States, in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division, which ultimately led to the Daubert evidentiary line of cases recently adopted by the Florida Legislature as an amendment to Section 90.702, Fla. Stat. Frank represented Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals in their multi-district Bendectin cases in Florida in state and federal courts, Proctor & Gamble in their Toxic Shock Syndrome cases in Central Florida, and Eli Lilly in their Zyprexa pharmaceutical litigation in Central Florida. Frank represented State Farm Insurance in all of their first party homeowner mold claims arising from the 2004 hurricane season. He has argued appellate cases in four of the five appellate district courts, the Florida Supreme Court and the Eleventh United States Circuit Court of Appeals. Frank is a past president of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and is a frequent lecturer on a variety of topics involving civil litigation.
Randall Scarlett- Traumatic Brain Injury Cases
 Mr. Scarlett is a President’s Club Member of the American Association for Justice and is a past Chair and current Board Member of the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Section of the American Association for Justice. Mr. Scarlett also serves as a member of the Leaders Forum of that organization. Mr. Scarlett is a member in good standing of the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Western Trial Lawyers Association, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association (out of state member), the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.
